Singlespeeding is an acquired taste, but ultimately the fact that it's just you and the bike and that there are no gears to have to worry about makes it a very simplistic way to go riding.
Singlespeed racing isn't a particularly competitive thing, well perhaps not in terms of bike racing, but possibly in terms of beer drinking.
This event wouldn't have been the same without the Germans who made things rather entertaining at the finish. Thanks to Phaty and the crew for coming over.
