Thetford Forest just inside Suffolk is the venue for what is now generally regarded as a classic endurance race. 8pm until 8am racing throug the night.

For 2002 I teamed up with Chilly whi8lst Jed rode solo with support from Lou. It was a fairly intense event and we raced two on, two off, which meant about an hour and a half of rest between each session.

The weather was dry but the mist that descended during the night was thick and wet making the racing eerie at times. We both kept up a good rhythm and managed a respectable 9th place. Not bad from the 36 odd teams taking part. Jed rode solo (!) and to his credit rolled in after 11 laps in 7th place. Respect.
